Review of Isle of Dogs (2018) by Walt M — 13 Jun 2018
"Isle of Dogs" is a shining example of Anderson's body of work, easily grouped with "The Royal Tenenbaums" and "The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou" as one of my all-time favorites.
The use of stop-motion animation in combination with seemingly timeless scores and musical accompaniment carry his trademark aesthetic effortlessly as its talented cast of vocal performers nail the dry, deadpan humor inherent, and expected in his portfolio of films.
I would easily recommend this to anyone as a must see.
