How do you rate a movie like this. "Irreversible" is intense and hard to watch, to say the least. If your brain stops thinking the moment it's shocked by content it's not accustomed to processing, you will be repulsed by this movie and will feel compelled to turn away or turn it off. The rape scene is long and brutal, and for anyone with true compassion for such victims, it will make you feel the experience in addition to the visual assault. This kind of thing does happen to real women and we should stop allowing it by turning away. Watch it and let the rage build inside you.
I cannot fairly rate a movie based solely on the agree-ability of subject matter. This movie was very well done!
