Irreversible is simply a beautiful work of art. The visuals, the characters, the dialogue, and everything else comes together in such a neat, pretty little harrowing package in which you feel so much satisfied and depressed at the same time.
Noe' is a wizard that weaves a magical tale of tragedy and irony, and the most impressive thing is his ability to do so with such disturbingly real images in a way that's not at all distasteful, but in fact, surprisingly touching, painful, and horrifying.
I only wish that they would have a warning sign with these kinda movies.... saying "this film has graphic homosexuality." I don't mean to be homophobic, it's just I find it extremely disturbing to be surprised by two men having sex in a movie.
Every single time it's happened has been burned into my memory.
