Irreversible deeply affected me. The way the movie is shot makes you feel like you're a fly on the wall the entire movie. The two brutally violent scenes are tweaked digitally so it feels like one long take, making it even more real and disturbing.
Monica Bellucci and Vincent Cassel were so believable it didn't feel like acting, every emotion they give you, you feel. By telling the story backwards it magnifies everything adding so many layers of brilliance to this story.
