Review of Irreversible (2002) by Cale B — 03 Apr 2014
Irreversible is one of the many reasons I love foreign independent cinema. Irreversible is far from an easy watch not just because of the disturbing nature of the content but because of its style of filming. The camera floats around endlessly with no sense of verticality. Some might call it annoyingly nauseating whereas I call it inventively nauseating.
This is a film which is designed to make a lasting effect on you, no matter how brutal it might be.
