Review of Irrational Man (2015) by Jeff B — 05 Aug 2016
This is a slow and initially painstakingly pretentious burn, but once the crux of the action happens, it picks up nicely. The thematic flow isn't as well constructed as Allen's other works and at times feels superficially intellectual, but it's still a reasonably enjoyable ride.
Individual performances are quite good even if some pairings are a little awkward together.
