Review of Irrational Man (2015) by Judy G — 14 Aug 2015
I hesitated seeing Irrational Man this long because of the bad reviews, so my expectations weren't super high. I enjoyed it. I thought it was an interesting premise, Joaquin Phoenix never turned into "Woody-Lite" and it wasn't predictable.
Scriptwise/wit-wise, it was quieter than other WA films, but I thought it was solid and clever. I think it deserves more love and positive reviews than it's gotten.
