This is a film that recieved very little build up prior to the release with 1 trailer a few weeks ago being about it. as far as historical epics go this aint braveheart but its still very good entertainment as its set in the battle for rochester castle as paul giamatti plays king john who has started a rebellion and his danish army try to reclaim the castle from 20 soldiers determined to defend their land for the country.
the battles are very realistic and gory at times...storywise its nothing special but its the action we see it for which is awesome.
