Review of Ironclad (2011) by Olof A — 13 Aug 2011
I love period films. All of the medieval stuff is right up my alley. Add in a great cast and you would naturally have a great film. Right? Not entirely. The over-abundance of brutal (an yet totally awesome) gore overpowers the story and causes a lack of much needed character development.
Entertaining for gore-hounds and historians alike for a lazy Sunday afternoon, but not much else.
