Review of Ironclad (2011) by Alan B — 07 Nov 2011
Two things perplex me about this movie: first, that I don't recall seeing it in theatres, and second, that only 40% of critics and audiences liked it. A historical narrative lacking the sillyness and formula plot of the majority of popular features today, I found this movie both refreshing and entertaining.
Brutal? Indeed, as was the time in which its events occurred. Two thumbs up.
