Suffering from none of the high mindedness of films such as Kingdom of Heaven, Ironclad is a simple, brutal blood n' guts flick. Made for next to nothing and with an impressive cast (though Giamatti seems oddly miscast as John), you could do far worse for hack and slash adventures, provided a plot isn't of huge importance.
