Review of Ironclad (2011) by Manu G — 29 Sep 2011
In 1215, King John was forced to sign the Magna Carta, limiting royal power. He wasn't happy about it.
The following year, he tried to go back on the treaty, leading to another rebellion: this film is based around John's siege of Rochester castle. Unfortunately, and much as I imagine a real siege would have been, the film is very slow, with only occasional bursts of action. :(.
