Review of Iron Man 3 (2013) by Cooper C — 26 Nov 2014
Iron Man is now officially a trilogy. Is it a successful trilogy, OF COURSE IT IS! Is it a consistent trilogy? Well, it almost is but I think the change of Directors really threw off the feel that was present in the first two films.
Don't get me wrong it was great, it's just that even though it had lots of new stuff that I'm sure many people will love, it is still missing other touches that fans praised about the the first two movies.
Iron Man 3 does accomplish a new direction which I am absolutely in love with. It has funny punchlines that come across every two minutes or so and the intensity is cranked up on high. The thrill was absolutely sudden, unexpected, and pleasurable.
In the end Iron Man 3 will probably be the most successful movie of the year, but it is definitely not the best.
