Review of Iron Man (2008) by Sean P — 19 Feb 2014
Despite the recent success of the Avengers (and well-deserved success at that) I still think this to be the best of Marvel's films. They're having trouble coming up with new ideas for action, but the character of Tony Stark is so well portrayed in every film he is in, that it is very difficult for anyone else to be your favorite Avenger.
That said, his character is most firmly established (and kudos to Joss Whedon for the character continuity) in this film. Third best superhero movie of all time behind the two most recent Batman movies.
