The first quarter of this film is stellar, and captivates with Downey Jr's stunning performance. The ending punchline "I am Iron-Man" shocks and dazzles. The rest of the film fails to live up to these bright spots, with a disappointing villain in Bridges and a middle-of-the-road story, overall.
