Review of Iraq in Fragments (2006) by J M — 26 Jul 2007
For a documentary Iraq in Fragments does a pretty good job. It has zero bias in it and portrays each of the three religious groups in Iraq equally. Though I didn't care too much for the first part of the movie (felt like it dragged on a bit too long) the second and third segments were particularly gripping.
Perhaps what is most enjoyable is that every opinion comes from common Iraqis. There is no American spin on it, nothing that tries to compromise it, just common people living in an uncommon time and place.
