Review of Iraq in Fragments (2006) by Frederick M — 06 Dec 2007
An absolutely stunning, intimate vantage of three different groups of people living through the war in Iraq. The subject was incredible enough, particularly the following of the Sadr militia attacking a market place to rid it of alcohol venders, but what is really impressive is the photography and editing.
The most amazing part of this film is it was a one man crew, just a man and his camera, that was able to follow these people and get views of life in Iraq that is otherwise totally unattainable by mainstream media.
