Review of Ip Man (2008) by Ryan C — 05 May 2011
This is movie about Bruce Lee's teacher, Yip Man. Donnie Yen plays the part of IP Man. It takes place in the 1900's and during Sino-Japanese war. It's not just a martial arts movie, but it has decent (if not excellent) story too! You learn about his life, have a small history lesson about the time and the Wing Chun martial arts (one of many styles of Kung Fu).
If you liked Jet Li's Fearless, I think you'll like this film also! I plan to get the Collector's Edition of this movie!
