Review of Invictus (2009) by Tanvir M — 08 Dec 2011
An inspiring and uplifting story of national unity through sports excellence. Buoyed by powerhouse performances from Freeman and Damon. The most poignant moment comes when Damon is standing in the cell imagining the predicament and test of human spirit and drawing strength from this.
Enjoyment marred from the unfamiliarity with the game of rugby and slightly loose editing. But all in all, a good movie.
