A masterpiece in cinematography. The viewer is treated to breathtaking beauty of the Japanese countryside through and through. Complete that with the wonderful chemistry between Yuki Amami (heroine) and Atsuro Watabe (hero) and Japanese folklore and one will have goosebumps.
Must read the novel once I have copious free time.
