Review of Inugami (2001) by Bill B — 05 Apr 2010
A slow burn that does eventually pay off, though perhaps not as well as you'd hope, this one was an alright watch. The film does shine in the visuals department, there are some truly amazing shots of the rural Japanese countryside.
Give it a rental, but be advised, it's slow moving and has been marketed as 'horror', which it really isn't. There's a small supernatural element, but it's very much a background thing, this is almost a straight up drama.
