Review of Into the Woods (2014) by Chuck B — 09 Mar 2016

So this is a weird one to rate. I actually found the story both strange and interesting, but it was also really long. I felt every minute of the movie and it would have been better if it stopped at the happy ending half way through the movie.

I think my issue with the movie is the music. I know it is a musical and it might be a very good life musical. But as a movie it just didn't work as a musical and just made it feel long and drawn out.

I think the story is good enough that it would have actually done better as a straight fantasy without the music. Overall it was a bad musical movie, but had a good movie story.
