Review of Into the Woods (2014) by Carolyn A — 05 Apr 2015
A pretty good film-the music is infectious if a bit repetitive, the actors were all great, and the story was cute and inventive. I happen to love the recent trend toward twisting familiar fairy tales ala "Wicked", and this was a particularly good example of that.
My favorite song? "No one is alone" by a mile, followed closely by "Hello Little Girl." My only quibble was Johnny Depp was not in the film nearly enough.
