Review of Into the Woods (2014) by Jkingsmill — 26 Dec 2014
When Bernadette Peters was not cast as the witch, that should have been my first clue. The actors fall flat. Two many pivotal scenes are left out - especially in Act 2. If you have not scene the stage version video you may be okay.
Purists will have a problem with it. A big let down.
