Review of Into the Woods (2014) by Proteus — 27 Dec 2014
This movie would have been great in 1975. Not great in 2014. Compare this to say the good animated movies of the year and it doesn't come close. Lego, Big Hero 6, and a handful of others have more spirit, more humor, more cleverness in 10 minutes than this full movie.
People WANT to like this movie...it has a nice enough theme and ending. But it is a stale concept and has been done a thousand times before.
