Review of Into the Woods (2014) by Keetu — 25 Dec 2014
This movie starts out as sickeningly sweet (a combination of well known fairy tales). If you know the plots, you may find this as intolerable as I did. Then it tries to get dark by killing off random characters and destroying moral values. I get it, they wanted to show us that people aren't perfect but there is probably a less confused way to do it. And When you think it's over it just drags ON AND ON.
The soundtrack was tolerable but be prepared to have your head ringing with "into the woods! Into the woods!" Long after you leave the theatre.
