It was quite hard for me to believe that this was a real life story when it ended. Into the wild is not a movie that I had expected to like. in fact I am a bit skeptic about all drama films because they tend to be boring. What interested me here is the sound direction from Sean Penn, brilliant music and well chosen cast. The central idea of the film did not interest me. My parents have never behaved to me in such manners, so I never felt a need to run of from home and never come back. It's the humane emotions of the film that got me hooked, not the relation between man and nature. Towards the end, the film became haunting and kind of in all ways sensational. I knew how it would end before, that's the only sorrow I have now.
