(Film: Into the Wild).

Have you ever consider abandoning what you possess for now and return the wilderness where you will be able to feel nature at a zero distance? The answer might vary from person to person, but going to the wilderness and feeling nature would definitely be a wise option whenever you are confused. The film named "Into the Wild" directed by Sean Penn is just telling us a story about this creative and meaningful idea.

Good movies will never be behind the times! This is what I always keep in my mind. Into the Wild is the movie that induces people to consider the human society and the world that they are living in. It goes really deep in analyzing the relationship between nature humans. As a top student who graduated from Emory University, Christopher McCandles who is the protagonist of the film firmly abandoned all of his possessions and a brilliant career for the sake of going into the Alaskan wilderness. According to what he said in the movie, what drives him to make this incredible decision is the annoying human world and society. In McCandles' point of view, the world is just a place where people are guessing, cheating, quarreling and competing with each other, and the only way to get out of all these annoying facts is to go into the wilderness that has not been interfered by human civilization. What he did in the Alaskan Wilderness is to live on his own and do everything in a primitive way, including making fire and ancient hunting and gathering lifestyle. In this film, the item that support McCandles' spiritual world and belief insisting he live in living in the wilderness is a book about the relationship between the wilderness and human beings, which acts kind of like the religious belief. All of such detailed inner demands are vividly represented in this movie, so this movie is definitely worth your precious 2 hours and 28 minutes to watch. However, the only drawback that I found in this movie is that the plot and conversations between characters are a little bit over-complicated, for words like "When you forgive, you love. And when you love, God's light shines upon you" made me extremely confused when I watched it for the first time. Therefore, please never watch this movie with your children.
