I couldn't relate to his situation as much as others have but its still a great piece of work. Some really fantastic performances, even Zach Galifianakis was great! I loved the cinematography, really beautiful shots they had.
The ending shot where it has a close up Emile in the bus and it pans out to show the entire wilderness was amazing and one of the many brilliant shots.
