Review of Into the Forest (2016) by Moo-Vies — 05 Dec 2016
I watched this movie which had the description : Scifi Thriller.
It is neither and it watching it was an utterly disappointing experience.
Nothing really happens. I guess the best description for it would be a softcore survivalist fantasy.I watched this movie which had the description : Scifi Thriller.

Actors and cinematography are good.
But the script is just bad. The development we could expect from such a kind of movie is so barebone that the story could hold in the first 15 minutes of a complete movie. In the same manner, the evolution of the relationship between the two sisters is bland, depicted then again with light broad strokes that do not hit the target.
I guess the purpose of it all was to make a different end of civilization movie with less violence and a soft depiction of it all focused on two gentle sisters.
But by pushing too much in this direction, the filmmakers pretty much removed all content from the experience, leaving a half contemplative reel that you will fast forward through if ever you are lucky enough to have a remote control in your hand.
