Review of Into the Arms of Strangers: Stories of the Kindertransport (2000) by Mark J — 24 Sep 2010
Slow-moving but incredibly effective documentary about the Kindertransport - the sending of 10,000+ Jewish children from pre-WW2 Europe to England.
The primary reason the film works so well is the interviews with the grown children & their perspectives on what happened to them.
Highly recommended!
