Review of Into the Arms of Strangers: Stories of the Kindertransport (2000) by Alex H — 08 Feb 2009
As part of one of the most compelling events in human history, this story needed to be told and to be examined. The documentary provides not only an historical account, but also focuses on psychological and social concepts fundamental to public policy.
Strangely for me, it spoke to the need for an Israeli state and puts into legitimate perspective what that concept represents for all refugees.
