Excellent look at the death penalty from all angles. My own personal view is...Yeah, that piece of shit deserved to be executed. People say the death sentence is state sanctioned murder, but justice itself is mearly state sanctioned revenge, with varying degrees of severity of course.
If this indeed was an anti-death penalty piece, then surely the filmmakers could've found a better candidate for sympathy than Michael Perry?? Shoots three people dead..for a fucking car?...Yeah, I'm pretty comfortable with him being executed, sorry about that.
