Say what you will about Tom Cruise, the homoerotic tension, and the like. This is a wonderful adaption of Anne Rice's novel, which in all truth contains quite a bit more homosexuality than did the film.
And although it may be hard for some to admit, Cruise does a stupendous job of filling the shoes of the mysterious, sensual Lestat. Impressive overall.
