Awesome movie in one of the most sacred sub genres in cinema (well at least until Twilight came along). Tom Cruise was awesome as Lestat a centuries old vampire who tried to mentor Louis (Brad Pitt) in his early life as a vampire but torments himself with guilt for allowing himself to be the way he is.
The story is told through his interview with Malloy (Christian Slater) as he unveils all in his 200 year struggle. Very well made film and certainly very enjoyable.
