Brad Pitt more than makes up for Tom Cruise's lacking, two-dimensional portrayal of a vampire. Christian Slater and Kirsten Dunst are perfectly cast, creating some of their most memorable film moments, which is a feat, especially for the very young Dunst.
The plot carries on as well as it can given its girthy run-time, but overall, Interview with the Vampire does not disappoint.
