Anne Rice is a great author, I have both read the books and watched the movie. I am a fan of vampire movies to begin with, throw in a great cast, good acting and a phenomenal story line and you get one of my favorite vampire movies of all time.
A wonderfully done story of the lives and interactions of vampires as the age through the times and the trials they face.
