Review of Interstellar (2014) by Ivor K — 27 Dec 2015
It's no surprise that a movie that heavily features time dilation seems to drag on far longer than it should. Other than that there is very little wrong with this space opus other then the "bookcase tesseract within a black hole" scenario which does seem a little silly.
In a clear homage to Kubrick's "2001, a space odyssey", the difficulty in finding a surrogate Earth is underlined (and by extrapolation the need to look after the original). A hugely entertaining parable from the Nolan brothers.
