Review of Interiors (1978) by Julia C — 12 Jun 2010
I'd always heard this was Woody doing Bergman. Watching it back-to-back with a Bergman film, I can assure you this is not necessarily the case. It's Woody taking Bergman and making it his own - at the end of the day, "Interiors" has far more Allen in it than it does Bergman.
It's a terrific film, a wonderful character study with excellent writing (as expected). I loved it.
