Review of Interiors (1978) by Little B — 11 Mar 2014
After winning the Best Picture and Best Director Oscars for "Annie Hall", Woody Allen decided the tome was right to take a risk and make a non-comedic film. The result is the cold and reflective "Interiors", which is clearly influenced heavily by Ingmar Bergman.
I liked this film, though it felt a tad pretentious. It was well photographed and had a solid cast, I just found it harder to connect with than many of Allen's other work.
