Review of Interiors (1978) by Petros T — 22 May 2011
"Interiors" can easily enter a Woody top 6. Its theme isn't particularly attractive, but has much to offer. From a directorial aspect, Allen avoids many close-ups and, for once in my life, I wasn't annoyed by that.
Instead, I believe it was a wise decision that enables the viewer to get to know the interiors of the characters more easily. Also, the scirpt is quite concise (that would piss Frederick off!). Overall, it's an elaborate and moving film.
