Review of Instinct (1999) by Trisha W — 09 Jul 2009
Lots of neo-hippies and aspiring primitivists love Daniel Quinn's "Ishmael", which this is based on. I thought the book was over-rated, almost naive in it's attempts to point out the terrible relationship that humans have toward other animals, but I could actually identify with this theatrical reinterpretation.
It took a ludicrous concept and turned it into something remotely believable.
