Review of Instant Family (2018) by Gail K — 03 Dec 2018
A truly awful, Hallmark-quality movie. The 12-year-old I saw this film with liked it. But I had to grit my teeth through most of it. It may be "inspired by real events," but no character acts like a real human being.
The scenes of "training " of the potential foster parents are ludicrous. The kids are the same stock characters you'd find in any Disney channel movie. There's a good movie to make about foster parents but this is not even close.
