Review of Inspector Gadget (1999) by Matt G — 20 Mar 2009
I liked the idea of the Inspector Gadget but I'm not a fan of Matthew Broderick so he didn't really do it for me. I never watched the cartoons so I don't have a basis of comparison but I feel like it could have been more cartoony & campy (though it was QUITE campy) or more adult.
They picked this middle road to satisfy both audiences that just left each group wanting more than delivered.
