Review of Inspector Gadget (1999) by Victor L — 06 Feb 2011
Inspector Gadget might be only good for some children because the movie is very silly, but kind of entertaining. I remember the cartoon was very foolish too, so the film had to be congruent. While I was watching this, I thought the adaptation to the big screen suffered exactly from the same problem The Flintstones had: the story works as a cartoon but not with real people.
The nicest thing I can say about this version of Inspector Gadget is that it's a lot better than The Flintstones (1994). Cheri Oteri (the Major) deserved a Worst Supporting Actress nomination at the Razzies, what a fake performance!
