With bad performances, cartoon sound effects that overstay their welcome, jarring and nonsensical scene transitions, awful editing and, worst of all, lack of faithfulness to its source material, Inspector Gadget's only saving graces are a few jokes that made me laugh and undeservedly good special effects.
