Review of Insomnia (2002) by Matthew F. J — 03 Jan 2014
Christopher Nolan directs this remake of a tensed Norwegian film with obvious talent. His cast is impressive and marvelous in ever way possible. The cinematography and ambiance is very unusual, always kind of grey, no nights, no real sun, it's a challenge for the characters but for the viewrs as well because we pretty much have to time marks of the evolution of the investigation, all could happen over a day or a month, it's hard to fathom because of this lack of nights & sun.
This make the film even more interesting and unique. A great thriller.
