Review of Insomnia (2002) by F B — 24 Aug 2014
It almost plays like a modern version of Touch of Evil, where a cop with the best intentions makes a terrible mistake while hot on the trail of a murderer and then has to reluctantly team up with said murderer to cover it up.
It's a fascinating, dark, disturbing film with superb performances from an intense Al Pacino and an equally intense and scary Robin Williams. A great film all around.
