Review of Insomnia (2002) by Justin C — 29 Mar 2015
It's hard to find flaws in Nolan's brilliant demonstration of one of Hitchcock's greatest hallmarks; that if you make the character the protagonist the audience will always give them the benefit of the doubt.
Less ground-breaking, it is still fits nicely in Nolan's portfolio by explicitly exploring an element in common his other films; that of the use and misuse of an inconvenient truth. I could not sleep after watching.
