Review of Insomnia (2002) by Michael M — 09 Nov 2015
Here's another excellent movie I hadn't watched in years that NetFlix reminded me about. This was Christopher Nolan's next movie after the success of "Memento" and I'd kind of forgotten how good it was.
This was when Pacino still had something left in the tank and when Robin Williams was just starting to try to be creepy in movies instead of the lovable goofball he always played before. And set in Alaska during the time where the sun never sets add an amazing tone to the movie and to Pacino's storyline.
If you haven't watched this movie before or haven't watched it in awhile, I say pop this onto your "My List" immediately. Excellent flick.
